Interventions: Introduction

While the social norms approach has been used most effectively over a long period of time to reduce heavy episodic alcohol consumption and alcohol-related harm, it has also been employed in interventions targeting tobacco use, sexual health, and academic performance.

The interventions described in the following pages have been categorized according to their specific target. Further, within each category a distinction has been made between interventions with outcome data and those with outcome data still forthcoming. (Updates will be posted as they are published.) When available, relevant links for each intervention are also provided, along with a brief description of the detailed information to be found there.
